Online Education Doesn't Mean Perfection | Jason Valade
On this episode of The Visual Lounge from TechSmith, you’ll find out how you can create better educational content online and while you don’t have to get it 100% perfect every time, with our help, you can get pretty close.
For many educators, whether working in Higher Education or the K-12 primary schools, there is a worry that if their videos aren't perfect, students won't learn. Whether it's because of the world of media for many of us, as produced by Hollywood and Television networks we far too often think perfect is the standard.
And of course, you want your video and you to look good. But perfection doesn't mean that the educational quality of what you create will be more effective. Let's face it, in the classroom mistakes happen. You might stumble your words, accidentally skip a key point, or need to take a drink of water. During our live stream, we'll be talking with Jason Valade from the TechSmith Customer Education team and former K-12 teacher, about why you don't need perfection to make effective videos whether in K-12 or Higher Education. We'll chat about his 20-minute prep-routine that can save a ton of time and his other advice and video tips.
